Recently, the China CEPREI Eco-Partner Conference and CEPREI Excellent Solution Award Ceremony hosted by the Fifth Institute of Electronics of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was successfully held in Beijing, where AntDB’s solution "Migration and Transformation for Core Database of Business Support System" was awarded the CEPREI Excellent Solution Award among more than a thousand cases.

The Fifth Institute of Electronics(China CEPREI Laboratory) is a national inspection and authentication institution for the quality and reliablity of electronic products and systems, also is the first professional authentication institution after the establishment of national authentication system. The selection of AntDB’s solution is a recognition of AntDB's 15 years of industrial cultivation, as well as of the industrial demonstration, technical innovation and application promotion.

AntDB’s solution as a model

AntDB, as a domestic database with a fully self-researched kernel, has taken the lead in helping Shanghai Mobile complete the upgrade of its database system with its more than ten years' accumulation in the telecom industry, and after introducing AntDB into the core scenario of the business operation support system, the cost saving is more than 50%, the response speed of the interface on the business side is improved by nearly 30%, and the efficiency of business processing is increased by 35%, which has played an advanced role as a model within the company, and cultivates talents and accumulates experience for the upgrading of more branches in provinces.

At the same time, AntDB also helped Yunnan Expressway take the lead in completing the cost reduction and efficiency upgrade of the clearing and settlement system in the transportation industry, which became a benchmark model for the transformation and upgrade of IT system in the transportation industry and greatly enhanced the confidence of the transportation industry to reduce cost and improve efficiency.

AntDB’s solution as a cutting-edge role

From the technical point of view, from the moment of its birth, AntDB has been at the forefront of technology. At the beginning of the 21st century, because foreign branded databases could not solve China's rare communication business needs, AsiaInfo was "commisioned to do the task”and devoted to the R&D of in-memory database AntDB1.0. After many rounds of testing in production environment, it was applied in the core system of telecom carriers in 2008.

From in-memory database to highly available full-featured relational database, then to full-stack database compatible with MySQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle, and further to cloud-native distributed database with multi-mode, and now the 7.2 version of hyper-converged streaming real-time data warehouse, which illustrates that each step is at the forefront of technology. Because it is the closest to the development of China's telecom technology, it can deeply perceive the changes in scenarios brought about by technological progress and can truly conceive the evolution and upgrade of product technology and services with its insight for the future.
