Recently, the results of the Sixth Galaxy Case selection for big data were announced, and two projects completed with the support of AsiaInfo Anhui were selected: “migration project for core database of business support system" declared by China Mobile Communications Group (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. was selected as a benchmark case, and "cost reduction and efficiency upgrade for  clearing and settlement system of Yunnan expressway" declared by Yunnan Expressway Network Toll Collection Co. Ltd. was selected as an outstanding case.

What is Galaxy case?

The Galaxy Case selection for big data is jointly organized by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and the Big Data Technology Standards Promotion Committee of China Communications Standards Association (CCSA TC601). The event has been organized for six consecutive years, with the aim of summarizing and promoting the outstanding achievements in the development of big data industry, promoting the application of big data in social production and life, and promoting the development of big data technology products and related industries.

The "Galaxy" case for big data is a very high-standard industry benchmark in the domestic big data industry, and the selected cases are of very high quality, which is a role model for China to accelerate the cultivation of data factor market and give full play to the unique value of data as a factor of production.

Hunan AsiaInfo Anhui Technologies Co., Ltd. Benchmarking case: migration project for core database of business support system

This project is mainly used to realize the independent and controllable replacement and operation and maintenance support technology in the core database scenario of large enterprises' IT business support system, and allow it have the architectural ability of high concurrency and high availability through the distributed architecture of database, all-memory storage, dual-center 3-copy deployment, etc., and solve the problems of horizontal expansion, concurrent reading and writing, and realize the abilities of second-level disaster recovery  and failover, and finally realize the high concurrency, low latency and high performance data processing of the core database through the dual storage engine technology and the introduction of RDMA lossless network technology.

After the core accounting database is migrated and put online, the performance of the business interface increased by 38% and the efficiency of billing increased by 40% compared with the original database, and the perception of internal and external customers is significantly optimized. The overall database construction and operation and maintenance costs were saved by more than 50%.

Outstanding case: cost reduction and efficiency upgrade for  clearing and settlement system of Yunnan expressway

The project provides the unified data service capability of the provincial center and the processing capability of "full process + multi-protocol + high performance + full business data" for the clearing and settlement system, meeting the requirements of centralized collection, processing and query of massive transaction data, and providing new impetus for the support system of the ministry-province level after the abolition of provincial boundary tolls.

After upgrading the clearing and settlement system, the speed of key business processing was increased by 90%, and the report generation time was reduced from 3 hours to 20 minutes, an increase of nearly 90%; through the application of AntDB, the procurement cost of international brand database was saved by 2 million, and the annual commercial service cost was saved by 400,000, thus realizing the real sense of cost reduction and efficiency increase.
